Presidency University celebrated its 10th founding anniversary on 22 July in a befitting manner and renewed pledge of developing skilled human resources.

The university had started its journey on this day in 2003. It successfully continued the journey for last 10 years.

The Presidency University is run by famous, experienced and skilled teaching staff. They have continued their bid to develop future leadership of the country with their utmost sincerity and creative teaching method.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Vice Chancellor of Presidency University and Macro-financial economist , told the founding anniversary celebration that the university has been working to develop a brilliant generation through standard but low-cost education for the middle and lower middle class.

“Presidency University in one side prepares the students for higher education abroad and on the other it also keeps direct contact with the renowned foreign universities to help its students,” he said.

In the meeting Prof. Dr. Tapan Kumar Chakraborty ,Dean, faculty of Engineering ,Shibli Ahmed Khan, Head, Dept. of English, Rashida Akther, Registrar in Charge, Dr. Miah Mohammad Hussainuzzaman, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering, M.Yasin Bari, Deputy Director,Admission and Administration also part in the discussion.

The Presidency University not only observes the national and international days, but it also regularly arranges seminars and symposiums on contemporary issues that enrich the students like extra-curricular activities.

Besides, the university regularly organizes cultural and sports events and engages it students in social welfare activities for mental excellence of the students.
