EVENT DESCRIPTION
A discussion on "Emergence of Bangladesh and Economic Progress" at Presidency University, Gulshan Campus was organized by Faculty members of School of Business on 22 March, 2012. The program was presided over by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali. Among others following faculty members Y.A.M Rafiqul Haq, Md. Sarowar Khaled, Tina Unmiya Hossain, Dr. Tarun Tapan Dhar, Khodeza Begum, Kaniz Marium Akter, Rehana Parvin, Hasina Marium, Alamgir Hossain, Annesha Zaheen, Md. Aminul Islam also spoke in this occassion. Speakers told that for last forty one years were mixed results of development of the country which is only feasible for attaining of Bangladesh as an independent country.
Prof. Muhammad Mahboob Ali while delivering presidential speech argued that independence of Bangladesh gives young generation to lead the country and prove their worthiness in the domestic and global world. He also emphasized that knowledge based education is the main theme to survive in the global world.
