Three days International Training Program on Research Methods & E-views organized by M.H. School of Business of Presidency University ended on 28 December, 2011 at Aman Conference Hall.

In the closing ceremony Chief Guest was State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md. Motahar Hossain while Special Guest were leading Industrialist and Chairperson of the Presidency University Foundation Mr. Moazzam Hossain and Member of the Trustee Board of Presidency University Mr. M. Amanullah. The program was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain. The ceremony was addressed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Head, M.H. School of Business and Director of Training Program.

Md. Motahar Hossain commented that Bangladeshi companies are currently giving more emphasis on doing research and development (R&D) for creating competitiveness and to expand selling of their products not only Bangladesh but also around the global. Present Govt. is encouraging knowledge disseminating to ensure vision 2021 as he commented.

Moazzam Hosain hoped that Business School of the Presidency University will try their level best to fill up the need of the industries to cope with changing business environment of the globe.

M. Amanullah gave emphasis on doing such type of business research training.

Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain commented that in this turbulent situation research becomes mandatory for all sort of business organizations.

Visiting Professor Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Hoque, President, World Business Institute, Bhanu Saxsena, Sr. lecturer of Patel Institute, India, Assistant Professor Tina Umni Hussain and Lecturer S.M. Abdus Shakur also spoke in this occasion.

In the program from 10 universities of the country, Chittagong Stock Exchange, GMG Airlines and also from India, Australia totaling 34 (thirty- four) participants were attended.
