A Faculty-Student Departmental meeting is arranged by the Department of English on 18 November 2019 in the Conference Hall of Gulshan Campus with a view to developing understanding between faculty and the students. The meeting started with the welcome address by Shahnaz Akhter, Assistant Professor of the English Department. The meeting was conducted in three sessions. In the first session students were given opportunities to place their demands and highlight the problems needed to be addressed. In the second session Mohammad Saeid Hasan Khan, Lecturer, Department of English, talked about extra-curricular activities and planning for forthcoming programmes for the semester. In the third session, the head of the department Md. Habibullah addressed all the issues raised by the students and concluded with a positive note to mutually work together for the growth of the Department. All the teachers and students of the English Department participated in the meeting enthusiastically.
