In honour of the newly joined Pro-Vice Chancellor, Presidency University organized a reception program on 23rd December, 2018 at 3:00PM in the Conference Hall of the University at Gulshan Campus.

Ms. Rokia Afzal Rahman, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Presidency University, Prof. Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Muniruzzaman, Pro Vice Chancellor, Maj. Gen Kazi Ashfaq Ahmed (Retd), University Adviser, Deans of Schools, University Registrar, Chairpersons of the Departments, Program Directors, all faculty members and administrative staff were present in the program. On behalf of the faculty members, officers and staffs the honorable Chairperson, honorable Vice Chancellor and the University Adviser welcomed Prof. Dr. Mohammed Muniruzzaman as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Muniruzzaman also thanked the BOT of PU and the concerned authorities for providing him the opportunity to serve the University.

Chair, BOT mentioned that with the past academic, administrative and research experience, Prof. Muniruzzaman will make significant contributions towards the overall program and prosperity of the University. The Vice Chancellor mentioned that it is a privilege to have a noted academician as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University.

While introducing himself, Prof. Muniruzzaman explained on the need for imparity quality education which would make the University stand out amongst others.

The program ended with a vote of thanks by the University Adviser.
