Presidency University is celebrating two day long ‘Club Carnival 2017’ at its Gulshan Campus from 24th July to 25th July. All the existing clubs of Presidency University - PUCC (Presidency University Cultural Club), PUDC (Presidency University Debating Club), PUSC (Presidency University Sports Club) and PUSSC (Presidency University Social Services Club) have jointly arranged the programme. The slogan of the carnival is “Rise Up” and its objective is to raise awareness among students regarding the importance of extra-curricular activities and also to inspire them to lead their own way. Mrs. Rokia Afzal Rahman, chairperson of Presidency University inaugurated the programme at 11.00 am. Honourable vice chancellor Dr. Matiur Rahman, University advisor Maj Gen Ashfaq Ahmed (Retd.), the faculty advisors of all the clubs, teachers, and students of Presidency University were all present at that moment. The carnival is organized with diverse activities such as membership drive, mini games, debate competition, cultural programme, blood donation programme etc.
