Social Services Club
Presidency University Social Services Club (PUSSC) is one of the oldest clubs of Presidency University, established in 2017 and also the only club whose foremost objective is to offer assistance to the underprivileged and the unfortunate in the society. PUSSC believes that it is a moral duty as citizens of Bangladesh, more prominently as human beings, to help out the people in need. It tries its best to contribute and offer a helping hand to these people in whatever way possible.
PUSSC has organized a host of events and initiated many programs to help the afflicted. The worth mentioning events are Blood Donation Program, in which students and faculties of Presidency University willingly donate blood to the people in need, Winter Clothing Program, in order to share the warmth with the cold stricken people, Eid Clothing Distribution to the poor children as well as Flood Relief Distribution have been arranged according to the time of catastrophe. Moreover, Medical Camp, which is considered as the biggest idea to raise awareness against the non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, Blood Pressure and so on.
PUSSC is always striving to come up with new ways to help out, contribute to society and aid the destitute with whatever is possible for subsistence. With innovative activities to serve the community and a large family of dedicated members, PUSSC has grown over the years to become one of the most successful, active and popular clubs at PU which is devoted to serve the society.
