Seminar on Youth Opportunities for Students of Presidency University

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) has organized a seminar on 16th October 2017 (Monday) at 3:30 pm in Aman Conference Hall. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Osama Bin Noor, one of the Queen’s Young Leaders Award winners of 2016. The Queen’s Young Leader Award recognizes and celebrates exceptional people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.
Osama is the co-founder of Youth Opportunities, an online platform which advertises scholarships, internships and conferences. Osama is also the resource co-ordinator of Volunteer for Bangladesh Dhaka District, which offers young people the chance to take part in community service programs. He hosts Teen Tekka, a popular radio show dedicated to teenagers in Bangladesh.
Ms. Rokia Afzal Rahman, Honorable Chairperson of Board of Trustees was present as the Chief Guest at the seminar. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Matiur Rahman along with the Advisor, Deans and Chairmen, faculty members and students of Presidency University were present there.
